For many people Sotogrande on the Costa del Sol in Andalucia, Southern Spain is one of the best places in Europe to play golf. The average of 300 days per year of sunshine means that the days are long and allow for plenty of quality time on the golf course.
Sotogrande International School Golf Club is a fully federated golf club which was founded in July 2010. Based at the beautiful Alcaidesa golf club, with its links golf courses overlooking the Mediterranean, the club offers coaching at every level, from beginners through Intermediate to our Elite Squad.
In addition to the coaching students also have access for ten months of the year to the two 18 hole courses at Alcaidesa.
The club is run under the careful eye of top coach, Juan Antonio Marín Ramos, who has been coaching in this area for many years, and has coached five Spanish National Championship winners.
All coaching takes place outside the normal school timetable, and students in the Elite Squad play in tournaments at both provincial and national level.
